Water Level Meters

The Water Level Meter is an easy to use precision instrument for measuring depth from a fixed position to the surface of a body of water. Its main elements are a probe/sensor, a graduated tape, a reel assembly with brake, and a cover plate incorporating circuit board, battery, test/indicator selector and a sensitivity switch.

Category:

The Water Level Meter may be used to monitor standing water levels in wells, boreholes, water tables, aquifers and large tanks, to make drawdown tests, and to calculate volume/time recovery rates.

FEATURES

  • Light, rugged construction, with extremely tough and durable reel assembly
  • Selectable indication – TEST position, then either audible buzzer or visual LED display may be used to indicate water contact
  • Flat 1 cm wide tape with clear black and red markings on yellow background
  • Marked in metres, centimetres and millimetres
  • Metric range of models: 30, 50, 100, 150, 200 metres
  • Stainless steel probe sensor slim line design for easy access
  • Reel comes complete with brake
  • Sensitivity switch with variable setting knob located on the panel for accuracy of signal in differing water and well conditions. Able to differentiate between foam and water levels
  • Highly sensitive circuitry – probe is unaffected by cascading water
  • Uses one 9 volt battery – no external power or earth required
  • Battery easily accessed from front panel
  • Tapes in other lengths and engineering scale versions available to special order
